Chude Jideonwo, media entrepreneur and host of the viral talk show WithChude, recently delivered a keynote address to Mass Communication students at Babcock University, reinforcing his commitment to making a career in media attractive to young Africans.
As part of his year-long celebration of 25 years in media, 20 years of Red Media Africa, and five years of WithChude, Jideonwo is prioritizing conversations with students and young professionals in the field of media, communication, and storytelling.
Speaking on The Future of Creativity, he shared key lessons from his career journey, the evolution of Red Media Africa, and the impact of storytelling in shaping narratives. Encouraging students to pursue careers in media, he stated, “Media is the most important and prestigious career there is.”
His message resonated deeply with the students, with one young attendee passionately declaring as he left, “Our passion—you’ve reignited it!”
