Chude Jideonwo, media entrepreneur and founder of the Fourthmainland Fund, has announced a $10,000 test investment for one outstanding African creator using Artificial Intelligence to tell stories, create art, or move culture.
The initiative marks the first step toward the official launch of the Fourthmainland Fund in January 2026. It reflects Chude’s vision for a new era in the African creator economy, one that connects creativity, technology, and sustainable funding.
The investment is designed to identify and support a creator whose work stands out for originality, consistency, and cultural impact. The Fund is seeking creators who use AI to produce work that challenges norms, inspires new thinking, and captures the spirit of African innovation.
Applications are open to creators across the continent, regardless of location, platform, or medium. Interested applicants can pitch their work at fourthmainland.com/pitch. The call will close once seven exceptional creators have been identified or by November 30, whichever comes first.
The Fourthmainland Fund represents a growing commitment to back African creators with real capital, resources, and visibility. By focusing on those who merge creativity with technology, the Fund aims to strengthen Africa’s position in the global storytelling landscape.
