Dorcas Taiwo, a communications strategist and media professional at Joy, Inc., will be a featured speaker at VOICE 2026 (Voices of Influence, Communication & Excellence), the flagship virtual public speaking masterclass organised by the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Students’ Union Government (FUNAABSU). Scheduled to hold from July 13–17, 2026, the five-day programme is designed to equip students and young professionals with practical communication, leadership, and public speaking skills for success in an increasingly digital world.
Taiwo will facilitate the Day Four session titled “Speaking in the Digital Era,” where participants will explore the evolving demands of digital communication, including webinar hosting, podcast speaking, online presentations, personal branding, LinkedIn communication, and media interviews. The session will conclude with a practical presentation exercise, giving participants the opportunity to apply the principles discussed and strengthen their confidence as effective communicators.
As part of the leadership team at Joy, Inc., Taiwo has contributed to building media projects and partnerships that champion storytelling, social impact, and human connection across Africa. Her participation at VOICE 2026 reflects a shared commitment to helping young people develop the clarity, confidence, and communication skills needed to lead with influence in a rapidly changing world, while demonstrating that great public speaking is rooted not only in technique, but also in authenticity, purpose, and service.
