Jennifer Mairo, Chief Operating Officer at Joy Inc., led an engaging virtual training session on Friday, August 1, focused on helping students master the skill of pitching their ideas.
The session, titled The Art of the Pitch: Selling Vision, Value and Why Now, was part of the build-up to MCSA Media Week’s Financial Literacy Day and served as a practical guide for students preparing for the upcoming Grand Finale Pitch Event.
Throughout the session, Jennifer walked participants through how to clearly communicate their business ideas, the key components of a winning pitch, and how to confidently present in front of an audience. From understanding what investors want to hear, to structuring a pitch that is both compelling and authentic, her insights gave students a real-world view of what it takes to be heard and backed.
The training is part of a two-day virtual program aimed at equipping students with essential entrepreneurial skills with a strong focus on turning ideas into real ventures and presenting those ideas effectively.
